Creatio is offering a full-time, salaried position to a highly organized and personable individual who is passionate about fundraising, in love with his/her Catholic faith, and has a desire to work in a fast-paced Catholic non-profit environment with the goal of bringing young adults into relationship with Christ and His Church.

Who We Are: Creatio is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit Catholic organization in the state of Colorado, and our mission is to guide all people to encounter the beauty of creation and the Creator through service to the poor, mission trips, outdoor adventure and care for creation.

What We Do: Creatio works to promote the mission of reconciling human persons with the environment through service to the poor, mission trips, outdoor adventure and environmental stewardship.  Through these experiences, we work to create an environment of encounter – encounter with God, with ourselves, with others, and with creation. Creatio members are volunteers, professionals, and friends working to address environmental and human issues on a deeper level.  Our goal is to facilitate an active transformation of ourselves and others, as well as the environment.



-Performs the Major Gifts Officer role

-Designs, implements, and manages all fundraising activities

-Manages strategies and activities for donor cultivation, solicitation, and relations

-Maintains contact with and develops grant proposals for foundations and corporations

-Works with the Board and Executive Director to develop and execute fundraising goals, leading to an overall increase in donations by 20% ($28,000) in 2020

-Schedules meetings with lapsed donors, builds network of potential new donors, and asks for their monthly or one-time financial support (estimated 50% to existing contacts and 50% to new contacts)

-Leads logistics and planning for annual fundraising gala, directing a team of volunteers to execute a successful event that will bring in over $77,000 in fundraising event revenue for 2020

-Oversees fundraising initiatives such as Colorado Gives Day, Giving Tuesday, and other virtual campaigns

-Coordinators development research activities

-Develops fundraising training for volunteers

-Oversees the management of databases and all records, files, and gift processing using the donor management (Kindful) and ensures the integrity and accuracy of all data

-Generates reports in Kindful to guide the Executive Director’s and his/her own prioritization of donor relationships and meetings

-Deposits check and cash transactions into bank and records details in Google Drive and Kindful

-Assumes responsibility for all Development reports to the Board and Executive Staff, and attends Board meetings when requested

Outreach & Administrative

At times when the Development Coordinator is not actively involved with fundraising initiatives, he/she may assist with the following:

-Researches, prioritizes, and initiates relationships with new organizations and institutions to plan and coordinate their mission/adventure Experiences, introducing them to Program Manager and Executive Director as necessary

-Meets and follows up with contacts to book new Experiences with Creatio and renews past relationships

-Performs other duties, including administrative tasks, as requested by the Executive Director or the Board

Qualified Candidates will possess:

-Incredible passion for Creatio’s mission, desire to grow in the Catholic faith, and a deep calling to guide young adults to Christ and His Church

-1-3 years of experience in fundraising and/or sales

-Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral

-Strong administrative, organizational, and problem solving skills; must have the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with confidence

-Familiarity with fundraising methods and tools

-Ability to analyze data, draw insights, and understand how it is connected to the bigger picture

-Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to work effectively in a team and independently as a demonstrated by previous work experience
